The unexpected juggler
Today five of us went out for a walk from Riding Mill. Chris led the walk and did not put a foot wrong.
The forecast was very iffy and we expected bursts of heavy rain. When the rain came we duly donned our waterproofs. It was short lived. The waterproofs came off because it was far too hot and humid to keep them on.
We repeated this pattern, but the only really heavy rain came while we were sheltering in a wood for lunch so we were not affected. (BJ brought excellent dark chocolate as usual.)
9.2 miles - phew!
Here is Alistair balancing a felled tree on his head. Who knew he had such skills!
I enjoyed a turn on a swing.
They all stood on the bridge for a group photo (see extra).
I have that very relaxed feeling you get after a lot of exercise.
