Goodbye from Tokyo Olympics

It was the 16th and final day of the Tokyo 2020 Olympics today.  

Team GB had a great games with 65 medals matching the London 2012 tally. 

There were so many memorable moments from the past couple of weeks.  Mine include Laura Muir's silver and Josh Kerr's bronze in the 1500m, Tamberi (Italy) and Barshim (Qatar) asking to share the high jump gold,  Jason and Laura Kenny making cycling history, GB taking gold in the first triathlon mixed relay team (including Johnny Brownlee at last getting the top one),  the Gadirova gymnastic twins, Team GB taking more female than male athletes for the first time, Tom Daley's knitting and what about those kids on the skateboards and BMX bikes!


Back again in Paris in three years!  Although we've got the Commonwealth Games from Birmingham to look forward to next year - and that has bowling!!
