Tattershall Castle
Decided to have a wee visit to one of the many properties that are owned by the National Trust and on this occasion it was to the south of Lincolnshire we headed and Tattershall Castle was our destination.
I won't go into all the history of it but it was nearly completely torn down in around 1911 before it was bought over by Lord Curzon who restored it and then bequeathed it to the National Trust when he died in 1925.
It was a grand place to visit and some great historical artivacts... Like this tapestry... Still remain today!!
