Pittencrieff Park, Dunfermline.

At Dunfermline for 9 to source shoes from Clark’s which I could not get locally. They had them in stock and I snapped them up. They are most definitely “Granny shoes” but I have three pairs of a similar style which are slip ons and they are great. These new ones have a Velcro fastening!! Comfort comes first.

Whilst in Dunfermline we visited Pittencrieff Park. We were impressed with Fife Council. Within minutes of parking the car we noticed at least three cleansing operatives litter picking. Once , on to the High St, another two. In the park itself another council employee was checking all the play equipment. The grass was beautifully cut and clear of clippings.

Falkirk Council should be ashamed of themselves. They spent cash on a new Litter Strategy. It ain’t working!!!!

Called in to see E and E this afternoon. They were having an “inside day” because of the weather and were busy building Lego. They have had a wonderful holiday from school biking, walking and picnicking.

Waiting on our back door being fixed this afternoon. It is not shutting as smoothly as it should be. We have managed to get a few odd jobs done in the meantime.
