Quiet morning at the GP surgery

I needed a routine blood test this morning. It's the first time, since last year, that we've been able to come into the surgery in a 'normal' way, rather than queueing outside and listening for a call via the intercom. There's still social distancing in place, and masks of course, but it all felt much less stressful than in previous months. Plus at 8.45 a.m., there were only two of us in the waiting room anyway. It's all very bare in there: all displays of leaflets etc have been cleared away, all noticeboards stripped of posters.  This has revealed how badly it needs repainting; it all looks a bit sad at the moment. However, the staff are as welcoming as ever, which is the main thing.

Thanks to all who expressed sympathy for Richard, after his ordeal yesterday. Thankfully he is feeling much better now.

I've had a crack at a high key image of that waiting room... but my Snapseed skills are still a bit basic, on that score :-)
