Vegetables Make You Think....

What shall I make with this assortment of vegetables, mainly from our veg box......

Well I could make soup or salad.......

Jack and Gloria are in a diner in California a few years ago.....

The waitress approaches. "Good evening sir. Would you like soup or salad?"

Jack looks interested. "I'd like the Super Salad please!"

"Soup OR salad, sir. You don't get both!" Explains the waitress, a hint of irritation in her voice.

An incident that always brings a smile from me...not so much from Jack!
