Meet The Admiral

Mixed weather again today with a very heavy downpour  around lunchtime .A very manic day again with staff on holiday and also sick. 
Thankfully this evening the weather had fined up and I enjoyed a lovely walk along the river bank. I took a few shots and then as I headed back this lovely Red Admiral was flying around. It settled a few times close by but typically it closed its wings up every time.
A blip sorted back home for tea and an evening watching some more one hundred cricket.
