Flypast

I walked to one of the most distant elephants today, a round trip of 7.87km (that's 4.9 miles).

Flypast celebrates Luton's connection with aviation and is suitably placed under the flightpath into the airport. Nowadays Luton is well known for its airport which is now the biggest employer in the town, but in the past aircraft and associated instrumentation and parts have been made in the town.

Part of the celebrations of the 30th anniversary of the local hospice, as well as a fundraiser for them.

There's extras.

This one is described here.

The hospice is here.
