Caddis Fly

This is the larvae of a Caddis Fly. Well no actually it's the house it builds for itself while it waits at the bottom of a pond for the right time to emerge.

We went pond dipping at toddler group. It finished this week until July. I am gutted. Sam and I both really enjoyed it.

The ponds were teeming with life despite the cold. I am taking bets on when I am finally going to get out of my knee high boots.
