Wild Daffs and Cuerden Hall
At last the small patch of wild daffs have started to emerge in the grounds of the hall. They must be at least 2 weeks behind last year. The continuing cold weather is holding them back along with quite alot of other signs of spring, today being 1st official day and all. Been an odd work day 1st a board of trustees meeting with an allocation of £440k to projects then all the staff in the open plan office have had to keep quiet because there has been a paid external meeting in the office function room that has spilled out into main foyer. There's still the chance of a few bonus leftover from the business lunch.
PS What a great film last night Chasing Ice by photographer Jim Balog very thought provoking. If you are climate change sceptic the film will change your attitude for sure. follow the link for more info here.
