The Cage....

Should have been at work today but for a national PCS strike. Instead i watched the budget & went out with me camera. Above is the result.

The Cage was built in the early 1700's & is the last remaining roundhouse jail in England. It was built as an overnight hold for people due in court the following day. At one time The Cage was even flanked by several stocks!!!! Today it is a Grade 11 listed building.
