Garlic

Not the sweet smelling lavender I'd thought about handing in bunches from the pulley but I'm pleased with this crop of garlic. As usual some bulbs haven't developed proper cloves but it'll all  be put to use. I'll find more dotted round the garden to dig up I'm sure but this lot had died back.

We have sunshine! No rain, no wind. What a relief. The poor garden has suffered but it will recover. My normally fine, easy to work with soil is more like heavy clay where the water drained. I'll be out there trying to make things look presentable as I shall be having evening visitors later in the week.
