In the shed
Soozy got something from ebay that required the addition of a V-shaped notch.
And as this is considered "mans work" I was sent to the shed with a wedge shaped block of wood and explicit instructions relating to size, depth, etc.
I decided the tool for the job was my late fathers' old tenon saw.
I still have a lot of his old tools in the shed and every time I use them I feel a connection with him and the time and patience he poured into working with his hands.
I could also feel him laughing at the "guddle" my shed is in as it badly needs a clear out.
