Day 7
of Fife Coastal Path. A slightly longer day today. The first 10 miles were very pleasant with a great wee stop at a gem of a cafe in Guard bridge. The rain was threatening but came to nothing. We had a welcome stop in Tentsmuir for lunch. Tentsmuir carpark has changed so much since I was there last. All the trees have been cut down making it have such a different vibe to what it used to be like. We started to walk along the beach until we heard a very loud roll of thunder and the heavens opened. We decided to walk through the forest instead of the beach. The rain continued for about 4 miles but fortunately it cleared up a couple of miles before we finished. Starting in St Andrews this morning we finished in Tayport, wet but happy.
