So I had a hearing test yesterday as someone suggested it as my noise sensitivity has gotten worse and because of it I really struggle to hear people sometimes.

Yep hearing is still all good and all issues really are noise sensitivity and overload.

Yay the continued joy of having M.E

There is nothing they can do to help :(

So ear defenders it is. Some of my friends use active noice control (ANC) headphones or earbuds. I do have some, two pairs actually and they do help but the ANC function on mine isn't that great, they are more entry level (and I was lucky to get them for free). I have been doing some research and I think really I need to spend at least £250 to get the sort of ANC I need :( it's a lot of money and a hard decision to make because what if I spend that much and they don't really help.

I mean that's a lot of shoes or days out making memories with little mouse but at the same time it could help to make better memories as maybe I won't have to say no to certain places.

We found out about our pay offer today. It's a good deal and if it's voted through by the unions the back pay (it's taken over a year for them to get this far as agreement was needed from the treasury) would certainly give me enough to pay for a pair (and get a tree chopped down in the garden and pay for a skip, all the exciting things lol)
