Commute

Because the car was going in for MOT today I thought I would have a different walk. 

Past 'Twelve Triangles' just as it was opening.  Almond croissants for mid-morning coffee and Rosemary Sourdough.  The quality of the bread makes me want to stop making my own, but the price makes me want to keep going...

Then around Calton Hill and down Broughton Street. 

Outrageous BLT for lunch.  

Another walk to get the car , and then a cycle to the pet shop for a water test for the fish.  We've had one fatality and a bit of listlessness. 

And a walk together with a pint in (outside) the Cumberland Bar, which was great.  

A pretty good day as it turned out.
