Wild Sky
Yesterday torrential rain - today high clouds and wild air.
As we walked through the forest thunder rolled around the clouds, and gust fronts blew past us but no rain fell. There was a lot of energy in the damp humid air and I could imagine the thermals roaring upward and I could feel the air blowing past us to fill the gap.
The extra shows breakfast and we have now entered that short period of the year when we can pick much of what goes into such a colourful breakfast. From the garden we picked blackberries, blackcurrants, strawberries, raspberries and wild strawberries. Mixed into the kefir were bilberries from the edge of the forest.
We feel very grateful for this tasty and healthy harvest!
