New wipe clean tablecloth

Our old tablecloth had certainly seen better days and was looking very dull. I decided to brighten the kitchen with this fun design. It has arrived just in time for our visitors tomorrow.
More tidying and cleaning today but I had a couple of hours off. One to visit our community shop and take my excess books and brought home some new cereal bowls, all mine seem to have chipped at once! I had a lovely long catch-up  chat with Donna. We're quite excited that the shop will opening proper from 3rd September. I'm on the rota to work in there so I'm looking forward to seeing people again. 
Later this afternoon a friend dropped by, unexpected but nice to see, for tea and coffee which we were able to enjoy in the garden. She has a lovely dog, Henry, and he and Reg are quite happy together.
This evening I've booked my rail tickets for a trip down South to visit my family for a week and celebrate my granddaughters birthday.
Busy day but a few things done. Now looking forward to our visitors arriving in the morning.
