Re fuelling...

Spotted this bright blue metallic Rolls Royce on our way through Knightsbridge today. It was hard not to see it. And even these cars need to stop at petrol stations. We saw some other amazing cars today too.

I had an appointment with my optician but this time I needed a special scan so we were at the Knightsbridge shop. Some three hours later we were free to do as we pleased for getting home.

A walk along Buckingham Palace Road to The Mall and eventually Charing Cross Station took us just over an hour. The gardens opposite the palace were stunning. No big crowds around either which made for a very comfortable walk in lovely warm sunshine.

It was good to be out and about and back to favourite places. We’ve chosen not to use the underground yet though. The main line and buses are still quite a novelty.
