Marsden Bay

Less than 10 miles from the centre of Newcastle is Marsden Bay a beach that would be more at home in Northern Spain or the like. The huge sea stack has birds breeding on it and the cliffs echo to the sound of thousands of pairs of breeding Kittiwakes, add sand, rock pools and smaller sea stacks and you have an amazing place and just to make it even better Souter lighthouse is nearby.
