Underwing...

It was a bit of a dull few minutes on my walk today when I spotted this resting small copper butterfly. I don't often get to photograph it like this - more often with open wings as in the extra. Also in the extras is a small white on a creeping thistle.

Something is creeping around my small back garden at night - I'm thinking a badger! I may have to stay up all night to check :)
