Bus Pass Walk

Bus Pass Walk without buses today, and we had an “American contingent” as we were joined by AuntieP’s son A who is over from Atlanta with wife A and baby daughter O.  Not a long walk, but a couple of pathways some hadn’t been on before, and we spied some new memorial benches dedicated to local men who sadly passed away this year.  A quick wander round the pond as well where this swan cam over hoping for food.  Sadly we had nothing with us.  Strange the positions they can get their feet into!  Then on for refreshments at the Ivy Kitchen where we were joined by A & O.  A sudden shower threatened to soak our bacon sandwiches, but a waitress very quickly came out with parasols which helped to keep everything dry.  A dry walk home and then another sudden heavy shower just after getting in.  This weather really can’t make its mind up!
