String Theory

In Physics, string theory is a theoretical framework in which point-like particles of particle physics are replaced by one-dimensional objects called strings. The theory describes how these strings propagate through space and interact with each other. Complete gobbledygook to me so here is a coloured fabric mobile in our kitchen window hanging from some orange string!
Took a micro-trip out to Wrotham village - it was somewhere I passed on my unintended detour on Friday but didn't get time to stop and have a look. It's not a somewhere I can remember being to before and it's lovely. A quintessential English village. Even better it has two pubs and a hotel with a bar!
