Castanea sativa

Looking up at one of the sweet chestnut trees in Chestnut Avenue, Easebourne, where many of the trees are on the national Ancient Tree Register. Some of them are believed to have been planted by Capability Brown in the 18th century. This one looks a bit anthropomorphic, I think.
