Agapanthus

We have been at home today. Mum's eye is doing OK but her vision is very blurred and the reaction to the operation is more than she expected.

Margret did some shopping for me in Hexham and called in with a lovely bouquet of roses and alstroemeria. 

Our regular flowers came later. When I was casting around for a blip tonight, I realised that I could photograph one of the agapanthus heads with the background of an embroidery I worked some years ago.  I like the result.

We managed to watch (me) and listen (Mum) to University Challenge and Only Connect.  We found the uni teams uninspiring this week but liked both the Only Connect teams. I did have to shout at the screen once or twice!
