Carol: Rosie & Mr. Fun

By Carol

2021 Sunday — Family Day

At 9:00 this morning we pointed the car south toward Temecula. We had a 10:00 o’clock date to meet our granddaughter Desiree, Tristan’s mom. We had had her son with us for 22 sleeps and a whole lot of miles; she was ready to have her kid back. Desiree had left the two little girls, Jade and Emillia, at home with Daddy.

The first thing Tristan did was give his mom the gift of a heart-shaped seashell ring box. He just couldn’t wait.

Together we all transferred Tristan’s things from our car to his mom’s vehicle. His belongings had multiplied considerably in the 3 weeks we’d been together; we had taken him to a number of thrift stores and even a garage sale and he’d bought quite a few books.

We said our goodbyes, almost forgot to give Tristan’s mom his medical card, but remembered, and then they were on the freeway headed south to San Diego and us headed north toward Corona.

As we got close to our destination I sent a text to our son-in-law to ask if he had our youngest great-grandson with him and he responded that he did. I asked if we could stop by for a few minutes and he said yes so that’s why I am able to include photos of little RJ and his grandpa John and his uncle Emerson.

That was our Sunday!
Rosie (& Mr. Fun). aka Carol
and Chloe & Mitzi too!
