A party!

Today I took the Carers walking group on a longer walk (about 6 miles) which turned into quite an adventure. I hadn't realised that the first half of the walk was tidal,  so we had a bit of scrambling up banks and fighting our way through thick forest. They thought it was a great adventure,  and we all survived,  despite the absolutely torrential rain which drenched us. They're now sworn to secrecy,  as my boss would have a hairy fit if she found out the sort of walk I'd taken them on ;)

Later, we had a birthday get together at my pal's house,  and it felt like pre-Covid days. It was brilliant.
