Viking Trail

Today we cycled from Deal to Broadstairs, part of the Viking Trail. Round trip was 32 miles but It was a good route through Royal St George’s with little cycling on main roads ( the bit round Pzfizer was not the best but at least it was on a path).
We passed this replica long boat which was sailed from Sweden to Kent in the 1940’s. it was actual size (not very big with no shelter from the elements) so quite a feat to make it all the way down the North Sea. We are watching The Viking’s on Netflix at the moment which is quite enjoyable if not a little bloodthirsty.

I think tomorrow might be a ‘take it easy’ day.
