Family fun

Slept really well, woke up just before 8, readied myself for a meet up with teo friends of ours, that we used to work,with, one was my manager and the other hubs PA....its been 2.5 years since we last got together as a four then :-/

We met for coffee at 10.30 the. moved to another venue for lunch at 12, were asked to vacate the table at 2pm as it was required for,the next booking....we were still chatting lol!
My ex boss is getting married in October, originally should have been last year! I have an in ite too :-)).

Curing our catchingmup I mentioned the job offer Id had from our GP practice, they wanted too many hours.....a little later H, my ex boss said she needed a PA, part time, possibly a short term contract, and that I had for her thinking :-/. Ended up with us leaving her to come up with a proposal of what she thinks she needs in terms of hours pe etc. and fhen I will consider it.....nothing ventured nothing gained as they say!

Back home mid afternoon, a. it of tidying aeound, swept the leaves up, filled the green bin, then put both out for collection in the morning. Prepped rhe evening,meal for me and daughter, she came here today, rather than me going to her, for a change. Prawn and chorizo linguine with broccoli florets was on the menu,p.

Middle son, DiL and their two little ones came to see us too, as they had been visiitng a friend nearby......saved the day for my blip too!

They always go up into the third bedroom, where the toys are stored, down came Jenga...
After lining it up a fww times on the lounge carpet, I suggested theymtrymthemkitchen asmits. uch,harder and flatter. Daughter went to help them.....this was the scene when I went in to see what they were up to!

it was avout 8pm when they all,left for home....the house felt nice having a lot of noise and chatter around. Isabella came running in from the garden, saying,Grandma come and see Grandad .....the girls had picked a few flower heads from around the garden and placed them on top of his lava urn <3 to. make him look pretty :-)

After our goodbyes, spent half an hour tidying up, watched a bit of tv, finished my blip, then it will be bedtime :-)
