Hamper

I saw a DPD van calling at neighbours who were out and left a parcel at the front door, as per instructions it turned out. I was just messaging them to check if they wanted me to take it in, when another DPDvan turned up to deliver to me a box containing flowers.

No message inside to say who it was from.

As I took the cardboard box out for recycling, a third DPD van arrived with another parcel addressed to me. This one contained a hamper for myself and my wife as a thank you from our daughter’s bridesmaids for looking after them at the wedding.

All was explained. It was a very kind and unnecessary gesture but very much appreciated.
