Dragonfly

This morning Little Miss Ellie face-timed her 20 year old cousin to tell her how much she missed her; they became very close at the family gathering in Sun River. It was a very sweet conversation. Then she  was so excited to see her "friends" at her Ballet class. I took her home after class and she was happy to see her family; she is a pretty happy little girl. 

This afternoon was very hot so I didn't get the gardening things done I wanted to do and tomorrow is supposed to be even hotter. I think the dragonflies were delighted with the warm sunlight; we will be escaping to the beach tomorrow. 

A high school friend who has been extremely against getting the vaccine is now in critical condition with covid; he is in the hospital on a ventilator. Very sad.....I think we would be home and less sick if he had just gotten the vaccine. So, if you can, please be safe and get your vaccine.  I am especially concerned about the major increase in young children getting Covid 19 or one of the variants.......there have been some deaths in various areas. The doctors on the Nightline show tonight are saying that the best thing a parent can do to protect their children is to get vaccinated themselves and to continue to use masks indoors for themselves & their children.  This is not over yet!
