..... ..... ..... on a wintery day. So pretty!

Yesterday’s flower is a hellebore, or Winter Rose. Some of you guessed amaryllis, but it’s growing outside in a pot, and an amaryllis isn’t hardy enough for that. The gardeners living near here assure me it’s a Winter Rose, albeit an unusual colour.

Our Govt has announced a plan today for opening up our borders and allowing people in again. Those from a low risk country who have been vaccinated may be able to self isolate at home. And their plan develops, getting progressively stricter. It won’t be implemented till next year. So far we don’t have Delta in the community and the aim is to keep it that way for as long as possible. It’s feasible. We’ll see if it works. The scientists etc are in agreement.
