No, not the German New Year classic comedy with Freddy Frinton.

My lonely midweek dinner.

Köfte with pancar ezmesi. Meatballs with a beetroot dip. I had a few years as an honorary Turk, and picked up a few recipes.

Love Turkish food.

By coincidence, I have a meeting with a Turkish banker tomorrow. In Edinburgh, not Istanbul. Pity.
