Sunflowers keeping cool

This beautiful sunflower variety is called Sweet Valentine. I bought the seeds from RHS Wisley last year where my husband and I spent the day for our wedding anniversary.

Today was a warm and sunny afternoon on the plot so I had to put them in the water butt to stop them wilting until I was ready to bring them home.
