Organic...

...todays' AbstractThursday theme, and thanks to Ingeborg for her long-time hosting. I went out early for my walk this morning, as it was a nice 72 degrees, but heading to a high of 88. I knew if I waited until mid morning it would be too hot for me to want to go. I found a small pinecone laying on the sidewalk, perfectly split in half, so I picked it up and used it as my abstract for today, using a 33mm extension tube with a 50 mm lens so I could get really close. I'm debating about trimming the bushes today--they badly need it--but I may have to wait for a cooler day, and later I'll be picking Mae up for dance class. :)
