Seagulls 'Eskimo roll.'

Nobody told these gulls that, unlike a kayak, you cannot do an Eskimo roll* with an ordinary boat. I felt a bit like this on my bike, as the rain got worse and worse coming home. Soggy socks and handlebar tape. Well, it is a British summer.

* The act of rolling a kayak from vertical, then into the water, and then back to vertical. I was always envious of my son who did this first time, without effort.
