The Eldest crushed it on her GCSEs!

I hope that she’s proud of her efforts, because she put so much pressure on herself to do well and studied so hard, that she’s now seeing the benefits and has achieved a passing grade in all subjects, whilst achieving excellent grades in the ones she needs the most.

She’s enjoyed the first half of her summer break, and with these results coming in so well she should really be able to enjoy the back end of the holidays before throwing herself into her sixth form years.

It’s no secret that I’m a proud dad most of the time, but today is one of those where that pride is dialled up to 11 and you briefly allow yourself to believe that maybe, just maybe, you haven’t messed your children up as much as you first thought!

Really going to enjoy this three day weekend!
