Beautiful Bella

The journey across the Pennines was interesting this morning with a detour through Garrigill due to the main Alston High street being blocked for 18 weeks. They are repairing the cobbled road that runs right up the middle of the town.
Chris and I walked the dogs, put the world to rights and had lunch. Pulled pork in ciabatta - delicious.
Chris has 3 dogs, Maisie, the 8 year old black lab who's a bit grumpy when she's tired. Bella, a lovely 6 year old springer. Bruce is a 2 year old Kelpie springer cross and is the sweetest dog, very gentle in his nature. I did consider bringing him home when he was a puppy but I didn't think my elderly cats would be pleased.....
