Vachéry

Hamlets in the Valle d'Aosta are referred to as Frazione (fractions), and this one sits above the medieval village of Etroubles. Vachéry probably means the place where they kept the cows.
It feels so good to come back to our familiar little place in the mountains here and what perfect evening it was.
