Larkspur

This is the first year I’ve grown larkspur , a beautiful delicate cottage garden flower. It’s an annual which can self seed. I’ve learnt that It’s a close relative to delphiniums.
It was a blustery day here and one of the bush sunflowers in the front garden snapped . I’m hoping the other survives as it’s so pretty . That might be tomorrow’s blip.
I shared a gentle yoga class at Lincluden community centre, there were 11 participants in the hall and 4 on Zoom. After the class I popped down to the allotment and picked a few tomatoes and a courgette for Pat.
I had some home grown new potatoes for supper .
My Mum phoned , her memory is worsening , I will go round tomorrow.
I joined the Mantra group in the evening. Harriet led the Om Saha Navavatu mantra. It’s an invocation to engender empathy and respect between teacher and student. Some of the pronunciations are tricky.
I’m looking forward to Sundays mantra session already !
