Visiting The Neighbours

A friend came to visit me this afternoon. Since it’s her birthday tomorrow I took her out for afternoon tea/coffee along the Thames in Wargrave. Afterwards I showed her the egg farm to see the animals - there’s more than just the obvious thousands of chickens! The main attraction here is the herd of reindeer, but all but 2 were hiding in the barn for some reason. The 2 rare breed kunekune pigs were more friendly, while the new alpacas were a little shy - there are three of them but one was also hiding. The geese and ducks were very vocal but you can hardly say they were friendly! There are also a few goats here, but for some reason I didn’t take any pictures.
