in a simple flower

i was snapping flowers - in the community garden - when i pivoted - and saw out of the - corner of my eye - a spot of color - going to investigate - this is what i found

simplicity in its finest moment - at least in my opinion - a mere dash of - striking purple color - appearing like a teardrop - of purple in the midst - of a white flower - making for a stark - contrast and a bold statement - in a sea of other colors - but it was the sheer - simplicity which stood out - for me and made it…
