This mp3 thing has a few benefits in that you can buy second hand CDs dirt cheap online.

I haven't made a mix disc for ages so started to go through the usual motions of the initial draft tonight.

Child #2 claimed I only listened to bands from Glasgow no-one had ever heard of. I actually like bands from all over the place no-one has ever heard that's if you consider Asda to be a record shop that is.

Anyway the mix has a swingin'bangin'twangin'techno' sort of vibe coming on from places (other than Glasgow).

Bands you don't get in Asda currently in the cans are The Birthday Kiss, Shovels & Rope, An Der Beat, Shonen Knife, Amon Tobin (shown) and (from Glasgow) Olympic Swimmers. Diggin Arvo Part also in a classical tip.
