2021 Wednesday — Sea Shell

We have arrived back on California’s Central Coast. This was a long day. LOTS of traffic from Chino Hills to Ventura.

After we arrived and unpacked, Mr. Fun took a nap (and the pups too), and I snuck out the door and walked to the shoreline and then walked north on the sand to the pier. It’s foggy here. The locals refer to it as “Fogust.” It’s a thin fog and we can see thru it. So it was fun walking in the cool moist air and seeing the pier in the distance.

Because schools have resumed, most of the tourists have gone. So by the time I got back to the house an hour later, I think I had walked a couple miles (my family doctor would be pleased). A walk on the sand helped wash away the hassle of this day.
