Early evening sunshine

A bit of a mixed day today weatherwise.  I think it has to improve next week.  That is to be expected in Scotland as the summer holidays are over and school restarts on Monday.  
A wander through the garden shows some of the flowers that have managed to grow during the good summer we had.  The third extra is a conundrum.  J says the plant beside the potatoes has been growing for a number of years, but it has never had flowers on it.  it looks like sunflowers, but we'll need to wait until next week to see what emerges.
