An old "mog" (Morris Minor) van outside the Inverness Aldi, this morning.
Managed to get out the kip early this morning, despite being very late to bed. Haven't cycled at all this week, so perhaps not quite so worn out as usual. Weather's been chilly, but the main reason for using the car, is to clear some of the rust off the likes of the brakes, etc - MOT approaching rapidly.
Headed off sharpish from work, and took a camera and lens to Ffordes of Beauly. Hope they'll be able to sell them for me. Nice to see they're about to expand, having taken over the former gift shop/café that was below their shop
Whilst there, had a we look at, and comparison between, a Sony Nex camera, and the Fuji XE-1. Both are rather nice. Ffordes aren't Sony retailers, but do sell secondhand Sony gear. Would like to replace my little DSLR (i.e. the one used today), with a smaller mirrorless camera at some stage. Probably not for a while. Have tried a couple of mirroless cameras, which has affirmed what I'd like any future one to have. The two looked at today, pretty much meet those requirements. But need to clear out some other stuff first, and it may be worth waiting until these rapidly improving cameras have autofocus as good as (i.e. fast as) DSLR's.
