At The Corner Of Westbury & Burberry, London

The Westbury was a very posh hotel a stone's throw from work -  I must have passed it hundreds and hundreds of times over they years as it's on my route to Victoria station on the way home of an evening. It closed in March last year due to Covid and never re-opened and is now in the process of redevelopment after all it's fixtures and fittings (8,000 items!) were sold off at auction in June. It used to have one of the most expensive places to have a cocktail in London. They really were different times!
The huge Burberry store abuts the hotel and this where I took today's shot. The Burberry store is now also closed but will reopen next summer after a "re-imagining", whatever that is.
I finally managed to set up my new CD player at work which I can apparently bluetooth Spotify to as well. If only I wasn't an utter technophobe I'm sure it would only take a few minutes to work it out. Still, it's Friday night and I'm going to chill out to the absolute maximum. Wine may be involved!
