Somerset

We set off early to avoid traffic, so we had some time to spare before our lunch in Somerset. We went for a wander and saw this lovely garden and the man tending it came over and chatted. He told us that he works in the navy, as does his wife, so they aren't in the house all that often. It was a very pleasant chat.

We saw a ruined building, and some horses, then had lunch. Afterwards we went into town and got some shopping, and wandered round the tourist shops. 

The cottage we're staying in is lovely, but a previous guest had damaged the wire of one of the lamps, which no one had noticed. Turning the lamp on fused all the power circuits, and upset the wifi router which now won't let me access a bunch of websites, including Whatsapp web. Luckily blipfoto is still available!

It's been a tiring day and I'm ready for bed.
