Approaching storm

I went onto the deck after breakfast, and was greeted by this spectacular sky. I grabbed my camera to snap a couple of quick shots. I love the contrast between the storm-filled sky and the sun-drenched paddocks and tree-fringes.

The cloud covered the sun just seconds later. And then the rain started: lashing southerly horizontal icicle-like drops. 

It was back indoors for me, beckoned by another cup of coffee.
