An ancient map?

No. If only. This is the result of piles of sawdust on our courtyard pavers which gathered over the three days of chain sawing  just metres away. We didn't sweep up each night because we knew they would be back the next day at 7.30am to keep going. Big mistake! Why? Because on the last night it rained just enough to wet the sawdust. The result? Tannin stains all over our courtyard pavers. The extra gives the bigger picture.

We used a pressure water cleaner to clean the whole area today. The pavers look cleaner but now the stains are more prominent. We have searched for a solution on the web and tried every domestic cleaner and bleach we have. Nothing has made any difference. This is so disappointing.

If anyone would like to suggest a way of getting rid of the stains we would love to hear from you. Mind you, we went into lockdown at 5pm this afternoon and the nearest hardware store is outside our permitted travel distance. Ah well, it's hardly the most pressing issue in the world.
